Each week, several area ministry leaders gather to pray. To turn our eyes upon Jesus. We are amazed each week as more and more people respond to God stirring and as He brings more people to this weekly gathering. Because of that, we often go around the circle and share our names and what church or ministry we are associated with. However one day, we realized that while we represent many different churches and non-profits, we really represent one church and one ministry. The church and ministry of Jesus. So who are we? We are team Jesus and we represent many different churches and non-profits from the Holland Zeeland area. It’s what unites us that is important.

What we believed can be summed up by the Apostles Creed.

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
      creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
      who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
      and born of the virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
      he descended to hell.
      The third day he rose again from the dead.
      He ascended to heaven
      and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
      From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic* church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places
